or at any ski area for that matter. This guy is
merely an apparition, or perhaps the ghost of a miner
that lost his life many winters ago.
Up North there is a small ski area built over
the site of a once great silver mine. It is
here that the legend of SilverFox is growing.
The story is that a silver-haired
newcomer has built his dream home on the grave
of a miner named Fox who lost his life in an avalanche,
over 100 years ago. Occasionally, the ghost of
this miner inhabits the body of the home owner
and then makes his host ski the dangerous out-of-bounds
slope where the deadly avalanche occurred. As
luck would have it, a passer-by may have caught
on film the possessed body skiing into this
dangerous slope. Was it SilverFox?
